Best season to visit:  

As in Kerala, the climate is not so extreme; season is good throughout the year. But September to February is recommended.  Monsoon period is the best time for Ayurveda treatment or rejuvenation packages at various Resorts in Kerala. During Monsoon, the nature will be at its best with misty and greeny environment.

Kerala has 14 districts with the major cities being Thiruvananthapuram, Kozhikode, Kochi,Kollam &  Thrishur. The main beach destinations are Kovalam, Cherai, Varkala, hill stations include Munnar, Wayanad, Vagamon, Ponmudi, backwaters include Allepey, Kumarakom, Vambanad lake,there are sanctuaries at Periyar and Eravikulam, also are heritage sites like the Padmanabhapuram Palace, Hill Palace, Matanchery Palace. Medical tourism is promoted by Ayurveda.
